Watching from a distance…

Crushes are probably the most complicated aspect in my life right now. In my head, crushes are a wasted of time spent thinking of stupid silly scenes about you and someone, in my heart i wish that these scenes would play out in real life. My way with dealing with crushes is just to watch from a distance. Its like watching a movie at the theatre…i have a comfortable view far far away from the action, sadness…DANGER. At the end of the movie I’m able to leave with my pride, diginity, sanity and dreams in perfect form. I really like him but I’m not going to do anything about until he does something about it cause I’m old school in that sense so I will never chase after a man or maybe its the huge sense of pride i carry around with me.

Or maybe I’m just scared of the fall…

I’m just taking it At Face Value.

He may not be Mr Perfect…but he is Mr Almost Perfect!

Really…is it worth it?

Relationships…

They are as complicated as we want to make them. We go on numerous dates and sign up to countless of dating sites and social networks, hoping to find ” the One “. We make metre long lists of what we want ” the One” to be…colour hair, personality, social status, car that he/she drives, just be ready for commitment, must want this many children and be a great cook.

Well…to be honest, people…”the One” doesn’t exist and that’s because we don’t live in the perfect world and we don’t have the perfect life with the perfect family and the perfect friends, the perfect career or the perfect hair.

Perfect doesn’t exist….but almost perfect is a reality!

So wait, don’t throw out that list so quickly or lower standards just so you can have so what of an almost perfect relationship…just be flexible and simple in your quest for “the One”…they may not tick off all the items on your list but an 80% is definitely better than nothing!

It is what it is…At Face Value!!
